At O5 Centre for Women and Children, Christmas is more than decorations and carols—it’s a season to give warmth, share kindness, and restore hope where it’s needed most.
This past Christmas, we set out to do just that: reach 500 underprivileged children in Agege with a festive treat that would light up their hearts. With the help of our partners and community, the “Feed the Needy at Christmas” initiative came to life—delivering not just food, but joy, dignity, and the message of body safety to vulnerable children.

🎁 More Than a Meal: A Message of Love
Every child received a beautifully packed gift containing:
🍛 A warm, nourishing meal (rice & chicken)
🥤 A soft drink, sweets, biscuit
✏️ A pen/pencil
📓 A branded body safety notebook to teach them how to stay safe and speak up
For some children, it was their first Christmas gift. For all, it was a reminder that they are not forgotten.

🤲🏽 How We Made It Happen
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, the tireless work of our volunteers, and the trust of our community, we were able to meet our goal. From prepping gift packs to coordinating safe distribution, every step was done with care, intention, and love.
We also used the opportunity to educate children on body safety, reinforcing their right to say “No,” speak up, and understand that their bodies belong to them.
🧒🏾 The Heart of Christmas
“This is the best Christmas I’ve had,” — 11-year-old
Moments like this remind us why we do what we do. At O5 Centre, every meal we give is wrapped in compassion, every notebook is filled with hope, and every outreach plants seeds of safety and self-worth in a child’s heart.
