On October 10th, under the Child Protection Network (CPN), O5 Centre joined the global celebration of the International Day of the Girl Child, hosting a special outreach to inspire, educate, and empower girls to know their worth and potential.

The session brought together hundreds of secondary school girls who listened, learned, and engaged in honest conversations about body safety, self-esteem, education, and making the right choices in today’s world. Through interactive discussions and practical examples, our team helped the girls understand that their bodies belong to them, their dreams are valid, and their voices matter.
Over the past 15 years, O5 Centre has reached thousands of children, teenagers, and parents across Nigeria with body safety education and counselling support. This year’s outreach continued that mission—reminding every girl that she is valuable, capable, and deserving of protection, opportunity, and love.
As always, our goal is to protect childhood and preserve potential. With every talk, flyer, and school visit, we are one step closer to building a safer and more hopeful Nigeria for our children.
